How to Read this Blog

When I started this blog, I could not figure out, within the given parameters, how to get it to read logically. So it ended up with the freshest post on the top of the page with the top of the post being the beginning of the post. When you get to the end of the post, you will find the beginning of the previous post. A bit awkward, but ...it is what it is. (right David?)

Also, feel free to leave comments. I engaged the annoying "real person verification thingy" because some dork put an add to his product on my blog and disguised it as a comment. He probably works on wall street.

Up it goes.

I started a new tradition. I moved an old tv, vcr, and dvd player out into shop and each evening when I go out, I pop in a John Wayne flick. Tonight, it was True Grit. In the picture, you can almost see Rooster, Maddie, and General Sterling Price negotiating in Chin Lee's back room.
I had been playing around with twin sticks for the transfer case. These need to come off for now. I will need to locate and cut a hole later, The cab was off a two wheel drive and has no slot for a transfer case shifter.
I attached two chains to the bottom rear door hinges that are still bolted to the frame. I hooked two others into the front cab mount accesss holes. Bringing the four chains together toward the front of the middle of the cab, I was able to get it to balance fairly well. I set the center of the chains too close to the floor which put my center of gravity higher than my hook. Luckily my son came out at the right time so he could run the jack while I supported the cab.
Up, up, up...
...and over...
...got to clear the shifter...
...and down.
